Raz-Kids is a website we will be using to practice our reading skills. On this website students will have access to several reading stories at their level. These stories are able to be read, listened to, or even recorded by students themselves. We will be using Raz-Kids as a part of our Reader's Workshop time a few times a week.

IXL is a math website that we use on a daily basis in our classroom. This website reinforces the skills and math concepts we learn each day, while keeping students engaged with fun rewards and challenges. I am able to track your child's usage of IXL, which allows me to better understand their strengths and weaknesses in math. Encourage your child to use IXL at home as a part of their nightly math practice.
This is a great website for math fact practice. Each student has their own log in information. Give it a try for your ten minutes of fact practice each night.
Spelling City is a wonderful tool that helps students learn and study their weekly spelling words. This website is used on a daily basis in our classroom during Daily 3. This website offers a teaching tool, a quiz tool, and fun games. To find a list for our class, simply click on the link and it will take you to our class website on Spelling City. Then scroll down until you find the story list.

Kidblog is an educational, kid-friendly blog site that is safe and secure. We use this blog for responding to reading, communicating about group projects, critical thinking and writing about math concepts, and for getting to know one another. Your child will have a log in and password for this website that will allow them to create their own blog posts and comment on their classmates posts.
